| Nessa was born in Dublin, where she now lives and works.
Her poetry has appeared in a number of Irish, UK and American periodicals
including Poetry Ireland
Review, Agenda and The
In 1996 she was joint winner of the Kerry International Summer School poetry competition (K.I.S.S.) and was placed third in the Patrick Kavanagh Award. In 1997 she won the National Women’s Poetry Competition and was shortlisted for the Hennessey Award. Her work also appears in the current edition of "InCognito".
