Dear members,

We thought we'd let you know about this new service for writers. You
might want to check it out.

However, it's still asking you to pay for having your work printed
and, whatever the medium, that still smacks of vanity publishing -
which none of you need to engage in. But see what you think, anyway.

Nessa

I am President of www.WritersClub.com and we just launched a new
on-line/on-demand book publishing service that may be of interest to
your members. . In this service, the author retains all rights, can
terminate the contact at any time, and only pays cost when the book
 is printed.

Books are set up on the Internet, can be browsed and searched by
keyword and ordered on line. Books ordered are printed on demand
(by Xerox - Book In Time) and shipped to the customer within 48 hrs.
Books are printed in trade paperback quality, 8.5" X 5.5", perfect
bound, with 4 color covers. Writers Club processes credit card
charges electronically on the Internet or accepts orders by phone
and though the mail. By having Writers Club provide this service
authors will have their material available world wide though the
Internet, have no inventory costs and incur no fulfillment expense.
Time and costs now applied to these actives would free authors to do
what they do best -- WRITE.

The cost for this service is a one-time fee ($350 members, $450 non
members) per book to set it up for viewing and ordering on the
Internet and to be printed on-demand. After the first year there is
a $50 per year to keep the book available.. The cost to the author
to print a book would vary depending on the number of pages. The
author sets the sales price and collects the difference between cost
and the sales price. Cost for a 200 page book is about $7. The
author sets the sales price, say $12.95, and then would collect
$5.95 for each book sold. An author may order as many books as they
 want at cost.

We believe that this new way of publishing books gives control back
to the author and lets the market, not the publishers, determine
 what the reading public wants.

Please visit www.writersclub.com for further details.

 Thanks,

George Molaski
