Hi Cait (and everyone else),

Yes, quietness on the list.. unlike the message board ;) The good
news being that there are a few brave and skilled folks who have
offered their services to give a hand with this site so at last we can
make a dent in the many aspirations that we have for it, including the
redesign.

I've just come back from the "Cat Laughs" comedy festival in
Kilkenny which was brilliant.. a great laugh.. there was a particularly
funny comedian there from Canada called Seán Cullan who
improvised songs, taking the piss out of the audience. Mark Doherty
was a surreal comic genius who I'd recommend too.

In response to Katie's Irish research question.. perhaps check out the
genealogy section of local Ireland for the Irish names <http://local.ie>
and Niceone is an Irish web directory with links to genealogical sites
<http://www.niceone.com>. There are other Irish interest sites such
as http://www.irishabroad.com and http://www.genealogy.ie which
could have useful links.

And to Conor Ryan.. fix the date on your system clock, Conor!

yours,

Mark
