Liam,
I did indeed get to both Bewley's AND Grafton Street!  In Bewley's I met a 
lovely woman named Margaret who works there.  We had quite a conversation 
about writers, etc., and I bumped in to her later on the street, where we 
actually recognized each other!  The day before I left, I went back to 
Bewley's and we exchanged address info, etc.  What a lovely thing that was!! 
  I also took quite a few pictures of the Famine Statues, the city in 
general and things that just struck my fancy.

the Westbury with a Dublin friend, it was a blast from start to finish.  
Next trip, tho, I think I will brave the roads, rent a car, and drive on the 
"wrong" side to the West.  Any recommendations??
