Hi John,

There's a thing called reference manager, which is rather cumbersome to use,
and hideously expensive, but which you can get on a free limited trial which
might meet your needs. Apparently once you get the hang of it, it's
brilliant.

Alternatively you can do a DIY job by entering the titles in an Excel
spreadsheet with columns for name, year, title, journal, volume, issue,
date, pages  etc. You can then sort effortlessly by date or alphabetically,
and use Mailmerge on your WORD programme to add the fields in to your
document in whatever format you require at the time.

But I don't think there's an effortless freebie - if you hear of one, please
do let me know!!
