Hi Jessica

I've heard great things about the course, having known quite a few
people who've done it over the past few years. It's run by two
excellent poets, Gerald Dawe and Brendan Kenneally, and they
always have access to excellent prose writers to teach - for
example, Anne Enright taught last year, and Ian Kilroy and Marina
Carr have also taught on the course.

amazing bonds - there is such an atmosphere of mutual support
and constructive criticism throughout the year - and with an
emphasis on producing a body of work by the end of the period, it
certainly cuts through any blocks writers might have been having.

The one caution - I gather there is always far more demand than
places - something like 600 applications and 16 places, I've heard.

Hope this helps

best of luck with it
