I think this is a sweet poem, Claire. You must be (as I'm certain you are) terribly proud of your grandson. The gentle visions of a child are the most compelling and telling. God bless and thanks for allowing us to see such a precious offering.
Nollaig Shona!

I've been sitting on the sidelines, enjoying the energy and so I wish all
a good new year. Every year I send out a poem - but this year my grandson
did the honors. Merry & more -

Savor the Season-

A Christmas story with all the plot

Conor, not yet three, favors

- hope, heart, wondrous surprise,

Mother Nature safe and light in the skies.

He tells it best: his own gospel truth -

once upon a time, there was a little baby

sleeping in the barn with a star

in the dark sky watching the mommy lion

and the daddy lion, sheep running down the hill

on the grass - baabaaing sheep; dogs, goats,

mooing cows and lots and lots of penguins

His version moistens my lackluster ways,
may yours bring delight to the
holidays.

                   love& Claire
