Fiona Maria Eustathiades

Untitled

May I gently touch with skin, sweated skin?
May I measure your length measuring mine?
Wine giddied softly stolen kiss is in
My sweetlipped mem'ry, sweetly made design.
Like blush of bud on bare branch wintered gray,
Geese threading mournful music through the clouds,
Echoed, spring re-sounds ancient magic ways,
Echoed, heart endures, greens, and speaks aloud.
So, gentle fingers, gently touch, and speak,
That winter's gray, spring sun will chase before
And eyes of winter greened by spring's sun seeks
To know, and touch, and gently ope' the door.
For this I hope, and dream, and ache, and wish,
That spring will burgeon food for winter's dish.
