The Waterford corporation Sean Dunne Young Writers Awards

The awards, a commemorative tribute to the memory of Waterford author Sean Dunne, offer a commission to compose a creative or journalistic work in the Irish or English language, worth 500 pounds for the nation-wide winner and 200 pounds for the Waterford winner. 

 Entries for the nation-wide award will be accepted from writers who are 30 years or under and who were born or are resident in Ireland. For the Waterford award entries will be accepted from writers who are 21 years or under who were born or are resident in the Waterford and County area.
